Students are introduced Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, metal finishing and other assembly techniques to create 3-D artwork. The beginning of this course is devoted to the technical aspects of welding, lab safety and creating with metal. Once the technical aspects have been covered the course transitions to creative exploration, aesthetics, and meaning.
