MATH 1762 - Pre-Calculus 5 Credits
Pre-Calculus is often described as an accelerated version of College Algebra and Trigonometry. This course introduces algebraic and trigonometric functions and their applications. Topics include polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic functions, sequences, series, and limits. Vectors, parametric equations, and analytic geometry will also be explored. In addition, this course covers trigonometric functions, identities and equations and the laws of sines and cosines. 5C/5/0/0
Prerequisite(s): MATH 0920 with a grade of “C” or better, or MATH 1730 with a grade of “C” or better, or appropriate assessment score
