This course provides an introduction to folk, ethnic, popular and classical music in the United States. It is designed to help students become familiar with the music from diverse cultural groups and regions of the country. America’s Music is an historical overview of the evolution of musical traditions in American society. Attendance at a live performance is required. 3C/3/0/0
