In this 16-hour mini-course you will learn, refresh and practice skills required to be a successful college reader. You will improve your reading comprehension by learning and practicing active reading and learning strategies such as annotating, note taking, building vocabulary, and developing test taking skills. You will demonstrate understanding of a variety of college reading materials through writing, quizzing, discussion, and a final exam. At the end of the course, you will retake the ACCUPLACER assessment, which, combined with your course performance and instructor recommendation, will determine your fall reading placement. 0C/0/0/0
