ARTS 1780 - Beginning Printmaking 3 Credits
For centuries artists have used printmaking processes to create beautiful images on paper. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of fine art printmaking. Students will be instructed in the following printmaking areas: monotype, collograph, dry point linocut, and woodcut. In-class projects will focus on hands-on learning and experimentation as students’ progress toward assembling a fine art print folio of their work. 3C/1/2/0
