MDLT 2500 - Molecular Diagnostics/Advanced Body Fluid Analysis

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of molecular diagnostics and explores the application of molecular techniques in the medical laboratory. Topics of study include: nucleic acid structure and function, chromosome structure, and molecular methodologies. The course also provides an opportunity for advanced study of non-blood and non-urine body fluids, with particular emphasis on hematologic exam.
