MUSC 1740 - Music Appreciation

This course is designed to heighten the enjoyment of music by improving listening skills, increasing musical knowledge, and exploring new forms and styles of Western music throughout the centuries. Course topics students will learn include basic elements of music, musical form and style throughout history, and representative composers and their music. 3C/3/0/0

Prerequisite(s): READ 0722 or READ 0724 or EAPP 0900 with a grade of “C” or better or appropriate assessment score
