CSCI 2453 - Computer Virtualization

This course introduces software and technologies used to create virtual computers. Proprietary virtualization software such as VMWare and Microsoft Virtualization are covered as well as open source projects such as Xen and virtualbox. Students will work directly with servers and install and configure each of the virtualization systems during the course. This course is conducted in a hands-on manner and class sessions typically will be dedicated to hands-on exercises. 4C/4/0/0
