BIOL 2790 - Research Project for Science and Engineering Technology 3 Credits
This course provides students with an opportunity to design and carry out a science research project under the supervision of a faculty advisor and/or industry advisor. The research project will be prepared using literature review, problem identification, procedural documentation, data collection, data analysis, findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Evaluation will be carried out by faculty teams and industry experts. The course requires 2 hours per credit of arranged lab work each week in an industrial or academic research lab. 3C/0/0/3
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1755 Research Fundamentals or CHEM 1755 Research Fundamentals; Instructor approval
