CSCI 2440 - Client Side Programming 1

This course introduces JavaScript programming and the skills needed to create dynamic, client-side web pages. The basics of JavaScript programming are covered, including: basic scripting, control statements, functions, arrays, and objects. Students will then explore the DOM (Document Object Model), JavaScript event handling, DHTML (Dynamic HTML) and select advanced topics. Class sessions include hands-on work and lectures. This course assumes a working knowledge of HTML and a previous introduction to CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). 4C/4/0/0
