MDLT 1510 - Immunology 2 Credits
This course covers basic theory in immunology, non-specific immunity, hypersensitivity and autoimmune diseases, and serological procedures. The reactions of antibodies and antigens are studied. These concepts are applied in laboratory testing where students perform serial dilutions, agglutination tests, commercial kit tests and interpret quality control and patient test results. Must earn a grade of “C” or better in this course to proceed. 2C/1/1/0
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1740 or concurrent enrollment & a grade of “C” or better in MDLT 1421 & HLTH 1410 & BIOL 1730
